You may not think you’re anything like average but if you’re like most college students, you’re spending over ten thousand dollars a year on tuition, room, and board; even more if you’re attending a private school. Add to that several thousands more that you’ll need to spend on textbooks, supplies and entertainment, and you’ll quickly see that its easy to end up with a negative balance upon graduation.
They don’t teach money management in school. But there’s still time to get a financial plan in place that will help you deal with student loans, learn to budget and establish credit.
