also a problem with loan deferments–if you take out student loans, and then take a break from college for 6 + months, you use up your deferment. If you get back in school, keep deferring those loans, and graduate, you don’t get another six months of post-graduation deferment.

Watch out! Student loans start 6-9 months AFTER YOU TAKE YOUR LAST CLASS. For example, if you got done with classes in February but didn’t walk until June with everyone else, as long as you are no longer registered your payments will start in October and not December. Just a heads up I had to learn the hard way while starting up!
