The more things change the more they stay the same. The more different we are the more we are the same. America and China are currently so dependent on each other it is scary. The people from both countries are proud and over protective.America is in trouble because the people domestically have to many entitlement issues.The government of the day for the sake of popularity have encouraged this. They have so far funded it by exploiting other countries and people.This is why America has so many critics.The government lies to the american folk and says it is because it champions freedom.What a lot of crap.Nearly all people want peace and freedom.What America wants is freedom to exploit and steal resources so it can fund its own excesses.Now the problem is that China also wants these same resources.China is just more clandestine and no one hears about their doings.Americans on the other hand tell everybody.I personally think we are better off with the Americans as the Chinese have a long history of been ruthless . Unless the Americans get their heads out of the sand and return to the basics that made them great they are doomed.You can only coast for so long.China I pray does not hold the ambitions I fear.We can all live in peace if national pride does not become arrogance.

Yup, rockets and gun powder.. best things around? right? The big big american ideas isnt white supremacy. Its freedom and justice for all, its been hard but so far weve made alot of progress giviing evryone equal human and voting rights… and on the other hand china kills its protesters, and is communist. fuck china. Im glad i live here.

China is a civilization that has lasted for over 4000 years. The US has only lasted a few hundred. Most of the inventions that you use today such as Paper, Gunpowder, and Rockets are all chinese inventions. Gunpowder was what allowed the US to expand to what it is today. The first rocket built by the Chinese led to the technology that we have today. Lets be fair and give credit to the chinese and cut off a bit with the “white supremacy” or the “Big American” ideas.

Now THAT has got to be the stupidest thing I have read here so far !

Folks, I gotta tell ya, I have worked in US firms that hire people from all over the world into tech positions, and most of them are smart – Chinese and other asians, various mid-Easterners, Europeans, with the EXCEPTION of Indians. As a guy who tries to not believe in racial stuff, really tries not to see it cause we are taught in America that the races are the same etc.. and everyone is human with a soul etc. but, well, Indians just must have crap in between their ears in place of brains. Maybe it is the heat in India that damages them, but those people are just damn stupid.

It’s not that I dislike them, or that I am racist. I’m just saying that my personal experience with a large sampling of US engineers imported from India is that, with just a few exceptions, they are stupid by a statistically significant margin.

Oops, sorry “Left Wing”, I guess you’re Indian huh?

I think that the racism on this site is getting WAY out of hand. Many ppl are responding like little children!. Are you seriously going to argue until you die?

I am chinese, and I hate the way China functions. I belive my true home is the US.
Sure, I’d like to stop those communists and turn China into a democracy, but it may take a while. Also, I’d like to give all those racists a hard slap in the face!

I think the best way for China to win a war is to not fight at all.
Same for the USA and any other country.

Who the heck are we to judge the whole entire country of China because of some weird dog eating people and hackers that are only ONCE IN A WHILE found?

Why can’t we form an alliance and work together instead of killing each other?
Why can’t we accept our differences and keep peace?
Who cares if the Chinese are yellow and have slanted eyes?
Who cares if the Cacuasians have pale skin and a different culture?
Who cares if African Amercians are dark skinned and have a diffferent culture?

i really think that the racists are people who feel bad about their balls being small and want to pick on someone else.

rofl maybe u should get your facts straight… China is agressive and invaded a country (recall Tibet).. China merely doesnt “mind its own business”..second the only reason Chinese economy is on the rise is because of western countries who buy Chinese goods….third the only reason China is experiencing a 8% GDp growth is because its neglecting problems at home such as pollution.. did u know that almost 90% of Chinese rivers are so polluted u cant drink from them? China would have to effectevly spend 15% of its GDP to take care of the problem and its not.. so in the nxt 20 yrs you’ll hear about the problem.. maybe u should get your facts straight before u start preaching.

not only the us will fall behind but also western europe; to believe and accept that, it requires a cognitive sacrifice because it seems unbelievable but it will happen. moreover, after the rice of china and its continent, there will come the african time. an african country will take the lead.the american government has felt that and that is why even obama as a liberal has been getting tough on china. everything has an end my friends so nothing will stop the fall of the u.s and europe. that healthcare bill shows that u.s has become unable to lead the world with its new socialist conseption.

I am an American, And I am angry about many of the things my country has done. The Trillion Dollar “War on Terror ” (Iraq/Afghanistan) is not one of them. America will suffer for decades to come for one serious mistake.

MISTAKE: Compromising our principles for greed by initiating trade with China.
In 1990 Taiwan’s economy was 10 times that of mainland China due to foreign exports. China’s rise to Economic Power was made possible by its exports to the US and now the world. The US did this thinking engagement would hasten political reform – We were wrong. This only strengthened the One Party dictatorship.
Compromising our Principles for Monetary gain was wrong.

The US and the world will suffer for unleashing the dragon on the global economy.
Understand I make these remarks not as a criticism of the Chinese people. Americans understand the chinese are hard working people just wanting a step up in the world…and they have every right to be proud of their advancments.

China is robbing its people of value. It’s currencey is pegged to the US dollar and inflation is held down at all costs this makes china (falsley) more competative than even India which has a true floating currency. If China’s currency was floated the value would rise many times what it is today…This would naturally cool-down investment by deferring capital to cheaper neighboring economies in Souteast Asia & India. This is in no way sustainable..

Plus the majority of Chinese reserves are held in US dollars..This means China and Americas fates are locked….This is not only an American problem—though we are the responsible party . This is a Global problem China will undercut everyones as they already are…The world is not big enough or wealthy enough to quinch China’s thirst.

If China was truly playing by the rules of globalization and the West, This would not be a problem. However China makes it’s own rules and is the Most Arrogant culture in the world, They see there 6,000 yrs of existance as some weird validation of their superiority…I don’t get it. They overlook the repeated failed attempts to control their economy —
6,000 years of suffering –6,000 yrs of blood and sweat and tyrany.

I like many Americans want China to become a true democracy. I can assure you I loose no sleep over China’s or Asia’s rise to modernity…And I would like China to have real prosperity not The destructive barbarism we see today…
