Great article. Reminds me of when I moved out and got my first place. I didn't even turn on the gas until 3 months later because I was stressed about money. Luckily it was a hot summer. One expense I didn't think out too much was getting a pet! I couldn't wait for a dog when I moved out but I didn't realize how their expenses add up!
