An internship is another great way to try out a career if you have the time and can afford to do this.</description>

		<description>I personally know a few people in their 50s who seriously regret not switching careers.  It&#039;s not so much they disliked their careers as they saw some other careers as more attractive.  For example, one person I know really should have become a professor.  Instead they are now in their 50s just waiting for retirement in another decade.

As a young adult who is just starting my career, I definitely will try to be more open about switching careers if it seems like the right thing to do.</description>
