College Education For Free?
The cost of college education steadily creeps up every year, burdening students ever more heavily with student loans – not to mention the credit card debt that most have piled up by the time they graduate. But one college near Branson, Missouri, is like no other: it’s free.
In exchange for free tuition, students have to work 15 hours a week, whether that’s making ice cream sundaes or taking care of the college’s 60 heads of cattle (that’s right, there’s milking cows involved). To get a taste of free college education, WalletPop’s Jason Cochran paid College of the Ozarks a visit.
