Thank you. I just found this blog and what a great resource! It is a good blog and their posts are effective. This is very nice post! I will bookmark this blog. I simply let them know that I have USAA coverage and they concede quickly. However, I did switch for a period of time when there were some blemishes on my driving record. USAA likes all drivers, but only loves safe drivers.

Great post! Another factor that affects the amount you will pay in auto insurance is the type of car that you are insuring. Vehicles that have additional safety features (like side airbags) get instant discounts.

So if you haven’t purchased a car yet, you may want to take into consideration how the car itself will influence the policy price.

Deductible also plays a huge role in determining car insurance premiums. Generally, the higher the deductible, the lower the premium.

I think the point is ‘minor accidents’ which women may be more likely to get into, but still ‘safer’ in the sense of avoiding major accidents, roll-overs, reckless speeding, show-boating, etc. Of course I’m a much safer driver than any woman alive, but most guys aren’t!

I too find that surprising. Most of my college friends who ran into minor car accidents were mostly women.

Actually, there is one company that consistently offers the lowest rates – as long as you have a clean driving record. USAA (for those who qualify based on eligibility) loves giving the lowest rate possible. In fact, everytime that I have been solicited to switch my insurer, I simply let them know that I have USAA coverage and they concede quickly. However, I did switch for a period of time when there were some blemishes on my driving record. USAA likes all drivers, but only loves safe drivers.
