I used WePay this past Christmas for a friend who had an emergency and it was pretty great. We managed to raise a few thousand dollars through friends, family and her church members to help her out. It was an easy process even though they do require a lot of information for the person who sets it up (me in this case) but that is just to make sure you're not a criminal or con artist. I did wish we could have given her 100% of the proceeds, but the service was excellent so I can't complain too much. It was also nice that she could check in and see the progress and send one mass thank you to everyone, rather than send out 100 separate notes.
