I work for a caterer and 99% of my clients HOPE lots of people will turn down the wedding invitation. They want to save money, too. If you’re a 2nd cousin or relatively distant friend…consider the invite a courtesy, and as the author says…just say no. Everybody wins! Oh, wait…but the caterer. Dangit.

I wish my friend gave me the choice to opt out of the manicure and hair style. I had no idea what I was getting into when I agreed to be a bridesmaid. Live and learn. I won’t be doing that to my sister. And thanks for the eBay tip for the bridesmaid’s dress. I’ll give her a color and let her look for a style she likes. With eBay she can even send me a link to the auction to get my okay before bidding; that sounds perfect.
