Not only did we not have the cost of a sit down meal, but we didn't have to assign seats to people, and were able to have fewer tables, because not everyone was sitting at the same time. We asked the caterer to provide a variety of things, and by the end of the night, everyone was full and happy. The reason we chose this option was because we invited more people than we had room for if we had to seat everyone, but it was one compromise that turned out to be one of the decisions that made our wedding really great.
