However, there is other legal tender that is far less common. Some of these notes were produced in commemorative editions, while others earn their rarity as a result of the impracticality of carrying so much money around.     this would be a really fun wallstats collage! With the bills sized according to their relative value, it would be much easier to understand how they compare without conversions! also, what about a Zimbabwean currency?

  2. BTW, you can see these US bills in the big Smithsonian museum in DC.

  3. The Thai 500,000 Baht note looks like it’s a commemorative note for Princess Maha Chakri Sirithon’s 50th birthday (which was celebrated 4 years ago). It would never be meant for circulation.

  5. Problem is most of the European notes havent existed since the euro was brought in. Poorly researched and poorly presented. 2/10
