Obama's healthcare reform, while not perfect, is a great step in the right direction for the millions of uninsured Americans. hopefully the reform bill can be strengthened to include some for of public option. I have blogged about the the health care reform bill issue on http://www.mydochub.com and I cannot overemphasize the importance of its passage.

It's simple, THEY WORK FOR US! Force them to walk in our shoes and to put up with the everyday issues all Americans are faced with. If they can't do their jobs under those conditions then FIRE THEM (vote them out). Fight for one year terms so their bosses (US) can get rid of them when they screw up. THEY WORK FOR US, WE PAY THEIR SALARIES! Turn off Dancing with the stars, stop sending stupid hearts on Facebook and let them know we are not going to put up with their Criminal, Incompetent, Greedy behavior anymore.

Until the politicians are forced to walk in the common man/women’s shoes, i.e. pay the health care prices we pay and get the poor coverage for that money, pay for their own gas at $3.00 a gallon, pay for their own cars, pay for their own child care, etc they will never change anything. IT DOES NOT AFFECT THEM so they don't care! As long as we pay politicians to do their jobs we will never get anywhere. An example that comes to mind is competitive soccer. When my daughter started competitive soccer it was coached by dads, who volunteered because they wanted to spend time with their kids and enjoyed working with children. And they did it for FREE. Then the rich got involved and free dads were not good enough to coach their kids. So in comes the ex-pro players who demand huge salaries to coach are kids. So what happens, the quality of coaching drops as the greedy step in. We need people in politics that are there because they want to honestly make changes for the good of the people. What we have is a bunch of rich people; you have to be rich to get elected for anything, which are in office to rape and pillage. Their kids go to the best private schools and colleges, and guess what; they end up stepping into daddy or mommies shoes to continue the greed and hording for their families. When an average person can run for and be elected president we may see some change. Until then the rich will continue to fight and control things to keep Americans in DEBT and the money filling their pockets

F@#? Ed Schultz, Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, and Rachel Maddow: These Socialist-supporting, Communist-committed, Nontransparent-Cheating, False-Hope Preaching, Progressive-idiots want the U.S. Constitution Abolished, and/or at least heading in that direction. When Socialist-Dictators from 3rd-World countries praise your economic achievements, you better "MEASURE TWICE, and CUT ONCE" your understanding of your countries future.

F@#? MSNBC.

This is not CANADA! This is not a "HATE" speech from a 'Right-Wing Nut,' or even a 'Right-Winger,' this is an opinion from an AMERICAN who doesn't need to think but UNDERSTAND that there is hate everywhere, against anyone, at anytime, about anything, from everywhere (there are BUSH haters on the left & OBAMA haters on the right).

MSNBC, CNN, and the Obama Administration worry more about the well-being and opinions of Domestic/Islomic Terrorist then they do about the well-being and majority, that represent the AMERICAN PEOPLE.

If you can't read or understand the Constitution, then get out of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA, quickly!

So we just passed a Health Care Law in order to know what is in it; written by a committee whose chairman says he didn't understand it; passed by a congress that didn't read it and exempts themselves from it; Signed by a hypocritical-president who is a smoker; from funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes; all to be overseen by a sergeon general who by military standards is obese; all to be financed by a country that is broke.

Does any one seriously think that the The federal government, or any other government will cut health care costs?

Exactly what costs have they ever cut in ANYTHING they've been involved with?

I ajm amazed by how gullible people can be.

Last year I asked my co-worker if the vote was left to us, the citizens, to vote yes or no for healthcare how would she vote, she said she woud vote "no". Knowing she had a son and a daughter in college that would be to old to be on her existing health care policy after they finished college. I then asked if would she vote no to health care knowing that her kids would maybe remain unemployed for a while after they finished college and this bill would maybe help them out until they establish themselves...... after she gave that point a little thought...she then said yes, in a case like that, she probably would vote yes.

So.....I guess, all you have to do is be able to think of the health care bill as it applies to someone else other than yourself. Yes, it will probably cost us, everything cost us, that is nothing new.

I also have a friend that rant and rave about "who is gonna pay for this" I find this odd coming from her because she is the last person alive in her entire family. So whatever cost she inccur under this bill, if it is passed, will most likely never be paid back by her. I have four children, the odds that at least one of my kids during their lifetime will need these services because of the lost of a job is high. My childrens children will one day have to repay for the medical care that I have incurred.....so what. I am now paying for "whatever" was left over from the days of my grandparents.

I once had to be hospitalized overnight in a surgical center....I have insurance. Two weeks later, I got a bill and my out of ocket payment was $32,000.00 for an overnight stay. My yearly personal expenses are not $32,000.00 When I went to the surgical center that morning for this procedure I was eXpected to leave at 5PM. Instead my surgeon arrived to late in the day for me to leave by 5PM thus turning my day stay into an overnight stay. When I got the bill I was still recovering at home...I remember thinking, gee, if all they did that night was to "watch" me and to come into my room turning on the lights to take my blood pressure, this could have been done at the Days Inn Hotel located next door to the surgical unit for $63.00 a night. Plus, my itemized bill stated I was charged $63.00 for 2 aspirin.
I found the aspirin cost amazing because I asked the nurse if I could have a couple of aspirin I had on hand in my personal items I had with me at the hospital and she said no, I would have to take aspirin prescribed only by my attending physical. I had a bottle of aspirin in my posession that cost me .88. Instead, 2 aspirin ended up costing me $63.00. Forgive me while I scream.....................

I have a neighbor that needed a kidney transplant....the insurance company allowed the transplant...however, after her successful surgury......the insurance woud not cover her anti-rejection drugs as they deemed these drugs "experimental". How can the drugs be experimental and the transplant not be experimental" These drugs cost $1,000.00 a month and climbing. Four member of this womans family have to get together every month to come up with the money needed to pay for the drugs alone. It use to be the cost of a home would be the biggest purchase in your life...not now, it is healthcare. If you cannot pay for your life.....your life is over!

So, I have inurance, however, I am afraid to use it.......the average person, including myself, cannot pay $32,000 as the bill specified to, "remit withing 15 days".

Something has got to done about this.........people are losing homes over health care. And Mo, I read your post and I think it is shameful what our government officials get as far as healthcare as opposed to us......the people that sent them there.

Why doesn't the health insurance own up some responsibility in reforming themselves? Because they are too greedy to even have conscience.

Honestly, should we have hopes in our government? Yes, we should, because when they stop fighting. They pretty much tells us, they stop fighting even for us. Then the world will be run by business. It will be a sad greedy world. Forget about human rights or any sense of humanity.

People need to wake up. The news can only get so far. Can we even believe what we hear anymore in the news or even from our government anymore? Honestly, they are only human after all. As human, we are all greedy. Especially the ones in control of our drugs, and health care system. Any kind of business that are big out there is based on greed. The more they earn the more they forget about the common people. Why do you think our economy is in the shape we are in. Because they whole system is based on the concept of "Human Greed". So is the health care system.

90 % of the wealth in United States is held by 10% or even less, 5% of the population in the United States. This is what cause all these financial turmoil. leaving only 5 % or 10 % of the wealth for the rest of the United States. Doesn't take a genius to figure out that this is just plain stupidity. How is our country going to function like that?

The health insurance can keep increasing their cost. It is not going to go anywhere. Pretty soon, no one but the top 5 or 10 % of the population will be able to afford health care. The rest of us.... well lets just say we are just leave to die ( so to speak, we all die eventually anyways right? ) Just that most of us will work like there is no tomorrow just to earn some food, and then denied health care. While very few of us don't have to work hard and still get abundance of riches that they don't need in the first place, and get top notch health care.

The United States will become a country of unequal rights where only the wealthy gets everything while the rest gets next to nothing for what we pay with our blood and hands.

The United States will become a country of unequal rights where only the wealthy gets everything while the rest gets next to nothing for what we pay with our blood and hands.
