Cool article. I've always noticed that TV people always seem be able to afford things that don't make sense. They own huge houses in high-priced areas and they are constantly going on expensive dates or restaurants/bars/coffee shops. WTF did Danny Tanner do for a living that he could afford a 3 story house in downtown San Francisco with 3 kids? How did he manage to have so much time at home?

I always wondered how George (in Seinfeld) supported himself. He was getting fired and otherwise doing nothing much quite a bit. Same for Kramer. Heck, even Homer Simpson has a regular job.

It's true... TV characters have a great impact not only on issues of money, but other important life issues too... attitudes in relationship, etc.
