So you already know that we added Mortgages and Loans to our online personal finance service this week…but there’s more news. We’ve also added and improved budget tracking features which will help you better understand and manage your cash flow and budgets.

Did you spend more or less than you made last month? Mint’s new monthly Cash Flow graph can tell you. Keep track of your net saving or spending over time with this new feature on your Overview page.

Mint users told us that they wanted to watch their spending vs. their budgets over time, to understand whether they were sticking to – or blowing past – their spending goals. We had to support that kind of fiscal restraint, so you can now look back in time to see how you’re doing versus your budgets for each spending category this year. 1 2 3 Next »I’m starting to use Mint more and more. I’m patiently waiting for a new ‘feature’ to be an iPhone app from the app store. I think that will put me over to top so I can ditch Quicken.

Mint has been fantastic so far, I echo others in that an iPhone app would be great as well (I’d even be happy to pay for that). If you’re taking requests, I’d like to see even more budget features (what-ifs, more alerts, etc.), but all told you guys are doing great.
Agreed. iPhone app is absolutely necessary. There’s not even a mobile web version of Mint. iPhone app please that syncs.

I really like these new features! I feel like the Mint team is really trying to help me stay on track with my finances and these new graphs and tools help. I use the budgeting often so it’s nice to be able to look back and celebrate (or groan!). The cash flow graph is a nice addition as well.
I’ll jump on the bandwagon and 7th (?) the request for an iPhone app. I’m still currently a MS Money user and found your site while looking for an application that would give me the functionality of Money but also had an iPhone interface. Since it appears that neither Money nor Quicken has one either, this would be a great competitive advantage for Mint.
What about us Blackberry users? E*trade came through with a mobile BB app. Even an Operamini friendly Mint.com would be awesome.
An iPhone App would really make this site work. Getting your financial data on the go (when you need it) is really essential, and would really shake up how we’re able to monitor and use the information Mint can provide. Aggregating financial data from all your institutions is a powerful tool, but having it on the go would be, simply put, astounding.
I’m a second for a blackberry app. That would be fantastic!
Put me down for a mobile-friendly web app and/or iPhone app. I would finally be able to make mint.com my primary financial tool!

+100000 to a blackberry app. I don’t generally pay for bb apps but I would DEFINITELY pay for one for mint. You guys have an awesome product, let’s take it one step further in awesomeness.
i use the app on my iphone 3g but am thinking about ditchin the iphone for a BB bold… does this mean i will have to lose my mint app? etrade and mint all on a bb would be sweet… let me know when a bb version comes out so i can log on to mint to see if i can squeeze it into my budget >=)
Wow. And i thought all the iPhone requests were a lot; what is the deal with the Blackberry app spam? Did some prominent BB blogger post a link to say spam the Mint blog?
@landoke I don’t know about everyone else, but I found this site by searching for blackberry mint on google… so it’s probably just a bunch of likeminded people. I’m a BB user but I can see the appeal for both phones to get apps.

Wanted to add my voice to the many “suggesting” a BlackBerry app. Put the pedal to the floor and distance yourself from every other finance tool whether it’s a standalone app or in the cloud!
