wow... instead of a date for the post we get this nifty "435 days ago" message. Wish it was just a date.

Ok. So here we are in October2009 and I'm still not able to access my Wells Fargo mortgages through Mint.

I'm having problems entering my loans. Both my mortgage and truck loan are through banks I have other accounts with. When I log into my bank I then choose which account I want to view. Mint always goes to my checking/savings accounts and cannot bring up the loan accounts. Has anyone else had this problem?

It would be really nice if one could add other assets, specifically, a house that the mortgage pertains to so that the net worth is more accurate.

Hi - any plans to expand Mint.com service to Australia? It sounds like such a great concept!

If my financial institutions are not linked in, is it still possible to use the service and download info manually?

Thanks for your help!

Chris, I apologize for the delayed response from us in the forums. As we’ve said elsewhere, we’re not responding as quickly as we want to to customer inquiries right now, due to high traffic volumes,. We’re are adding capacity and technology to address this. To your specific questions:

I have been looking into some if the add account issues with USAA. For the last several days about 6 in 10 people that try to add the USAA loan account are successful. This is below average and for the folks that are having failures, there is a usually a common thread. Sometimes loans that were issued from another bank\underwriter, and then acquired by USAA can be the issue. If so inclined, send me an email aforth@mint.com and I can investigate further.

Some others points of interest: Mint will send bill reminders for loan payments. This is a new feature...if you have already set your account up to get notified of credit card bills and you have added a loan, you should get a bill reminder.

Balance vs. transactions.....as of today (assuming you have successfully added your account) you will only see the balance for your loans. In the coming weeks we will add more information, such as transactions, details about the loan product itself and (the feature I personally love) notification when your interest rate changes.

A useful feature, for sure, but getting support on this has been like pulling teeth. Multiple folks have posted that USAA accounts aren’t working properly, but the answers we’re getting suggest our reports are only getting a cursory glance. Trying to add USAA accounts always fails during the account adding process, sticking on “downloading transactions.” I understand that transactions are not supported at this point, but because the accounts never successfully load in the first place, even balances are not visible.

Emails to support have also gone unanswered after over a week. Is anyone out there to take feedback on this, or are we out of luck? I’ll settle for a simple “we’re aware of the problem, have replicated it, and are working on it” at this point.

Wells Fargo Loans not supported.

Response from mint team support:

Only Wells Fargo Financial Bank-issued Visa®, MasterCard®, and Cash on Demand® personal loan account are currently eligible for online access. All other Wells Fargo Financial accounts (personal loans, home equity loans/lines and retail store credit card accounts) are not yet eligible for online access.
