How does Mint handle very long term issues that are introduced into stock holding record keeping? My biggest issue now is keeping track of stock splits (and reverse splits!) over a nearly 15 year period. I haven’t found a single bit of software that is able to perform with this level of granularity introduced into the calculations.

Not only that, but in the case where companies acquire other companies or merge, how does one keep track of the original basis cost and company name AND the new company name and adjusted costs?

For the do it yourself investor, there are very few options other than creating your own spreadsheet with dates, names, etc. to track all of this. Tell me Mint can do better.

How does anybody ever get the time to organise emails, I have got to the point where i just dump it all in an archive folder every couple of months.

Hi – how do you add individual investment holdings? IE – I own some individual stocks, not within a larger mutual fund – can I add these manually somehow?

I don’t see you answer this question yet. Basically, can you pull data for the funds that are not publicly traded?

Nice addition. Any plans to allow user input of securities (ticker, amount)? I own a mutual fund that does not provide online access to account information. I’d like to track its performance along with my entire portfolio. Thanks.

I love what you are doing and the UI is beautiful!

Any chance of seeing more reporting options (i.e. income vs expense monthly, etc.)?

Also – it would be nice if Mint remembered some of the settings, e.g. if I look at trends and sort by $amount decending, it would be great if that sort were remembered if I move to another month.

Glad to see this implemented, when my friend referred to me to mint.com about 8 months ago, he told me it is going to be even better once they add the investment tab. it definately is better, I can’t wait to see what you guys have brewing next! Maybe tax services with 1 button? Hahaha.
