« Previous 1 ... 14 15 16 17 Next »Anyone know how to add a bi-monthly paycheck?
won’t it show up when you deposit the check in your bank account?
How about making it two separate entries with similar names.
Ditto how to add an annual payout..like a bonus…looks like the only way to add is monthly and then it screws up the budget process.
Thanks
I get quarterly dividends from my self-owned business and would basically like a way to add a bonus that is recorded other than monthly. The dividend changes every quarter, but I usually have an idea what it will be and would like to be able to account for that in my planning.
I’d really like a way to flag new transactions (since the last download), to make sure they are all falling into the right budget catagories.. Some sneak in down the list, based on the clearing date. Great service, thanks.
This would really help me, too!
Is there any way NOT to include an investment within a portfolio? I have 2 accounts with Vanguard and because they are linked, one of the investments appears on both accounts. Would love to “disable” the investment on one of the accounts. Is that possible? THANKS
I have a similar issue. My spouse and I have multiple accounts with a given broker. In one case we have a joint account. When I imported our accounts, we had the joint one duplicated. I was able to “close” one of the accounts so that it didn’t show in my totals. To do this go to the “Accounts edit” screen. This is the same screen that’s used when adding accounts. Next, select the account and change its status to “Closed.” This should do the trick.
in your accounts – hide the one account you don’t want to see. The data will be there but will not be included in the accounting.
Yup. I just did this. Edit Accounts > Hide Accounts. Its all there. Best to you.
You can hide specific accounts by going to Your Account > Hide (located in the top right).
There you will be able to hide specific accounts so that they don’t show up in your reports.
Please add http://www.phoenixfed.com for checking and savings account
Has anyone had success entering their llbeanvisa account? I am not able to enter the security question(s) because only the username and password are asked for. Yet, it requires an answer to a security question.
Thanks for your help.
Please add the checking and savings from City-County Federal Credit Union (www.ccfcu.org) to your list of financial entities.
I agree with Alan. The ability to add checking and savings info from credit unions (not just major banks) would be fabulous!
I would love to have City-County Federal Credit Union in Minneapolis, MN added to the list.
Why are my fidelity net investments listed at their non-vested value? Wouldn’t the more relevant value be the vested value if I have left the company?
How can I add stock I have myself? Not in a financial institution.
Please add Bank of America Mortgage to the website. Addtionally, you should have a link that will give you the blue book value of your car if you own it. Currently, you just add what you think your car is worth.
I was wondering about that to, what I just did was go to kellybluebook.com i think the site is kkb.com
I had that problem…type in Wells Fargo Mortgage in the blank box under loans and it comes up.
Agreed. I ventured to kbb.com to get car values, but a built in tool on the site would be nice!
I was able to add B of A Mortgage by entering http://www.bankofamerica.com in the search window instead of Bank of America.
I have been using mint for about 5 months now, all of the glitches that were there when I started are still there. When are you going to have some updates? This site is nice, but the problems with it are becoming annoying. For example: My budget under different categories got screwed up when I had purchased made with my debit card as “credit” right before month end and then settled in the next month it goofed everything up. I’ve tried to adjust the amount that should be in the budget for the new month but that has screwed up everything. Also, why isn’t there a way to label pending transactions before they settle to make sure that they are booked to the proper category? There are so many little problems, if this sites intention is there to make budgeting easier, it would be great if you would fix the bugs that people have been talking about for months. Thanks.
Please add sunbankAZ.com for checking and savings account
please add CRCU.org to the list.
How do I get my bank to participate? Previously I was able to get my banking information transferred to mint. Now I am no longer able to. Why? My bank is Beacon Federal located in East Syracuse, NY. Thank you.
p.s. I love your site!!
Hoping that you fix the Third Federal Savings & Loan – http://www.ThirdFederal.com. Everything else works GREAT. Thank You!
Now that you are teamed with Intuit, any chance you will add a feature that allows users to import their quicken categories and budget to mint? I have a highly customized category list and budget, but would love to drop Quicken in favor of mint where all transactions are correctly renamed and automatically tagged with categories.
When you say latest release or updates, is the update done on the website,? Do I have to do anything to my info to make the change? May seem obvious but I dont see that much change since I started.
Please add the ability to input recurring bills/expenses/paychecks, like in Quicken Online!!
Adding in future recurring income & expenses and being able to see my projected checking account balance over the upcoming month is really, really useful. Quicken Online does this. Mint needs to add this feature!
Why in the world can’t we add income that occurs OTHER than monthly? I can’t seem to figure out how to add a payment that I receive twice a year. If anyone has a tip, I’d appreciate it! Thanks.
I am new to the Mint.com site and I have added all my banks and credit cards but I was wonderibf Mint had a Bill reminder, for example cell phone bill, internet, cable , etc
Hi,
Yes, it shows up on the overview page right on top. Only it will not allow you to set up the payments, you still have to go the original bank website to set up your automatic payments.
I love this website. I has helped me realize how much money I spend on “little things” and also that I spend way too much on eating out!
Thanks Mint!
Sorry, I just realized that you said internet, cable, etc. and not credit card. It does do that with credit card but I don’t think it does that with other non-online bills
check under settings for bill reminder and also low bal. and other things
Hi There,
I really like the trends page. I often would like to understand what has caused a change in the trend. For example, when reviewing a years worth of trend data, I would like to know what has increased with in the dataset. Would it be possible to color code the trend bars with according catagories? when drilled down to the catagory trend, then like wise color code the bars by description, and once a user chooses to drill down into the description, then color code by merchant. It would be nice to identify what catagory has increased when looking at the overall trend, and like wise when looking into the catagory trend like food and dining color coded out by restaturant, fast food, grocery etc..This would be a great tool to help hone in on changes and hone in on biggest chunks to work on spending.
Also, has there been any work done for the comparison function to compare single vs married vs family size demographics? I would like to know if my spending is grossly different then what my typical demographic spends for auto, home, groceries, bills, etc.
thanks and keep up the good work.
Please add cornerstone bank to your list of institutions.
cornerstonebk.com
Thanks
Hi I just signed up recently. I have had my TD Bank savings and checking accounts for over 2 years now, but only see the last 44 days of history. Can anyone either tell me why this is, and/or how to see more or my account history?? THANKS!!!!
It would be nice if the investment section calculated short stock properly. My short stocks in my Etrade account is showing up as a profit because the Price Paid and Share values are negative.
Short stocks should have the reverse calculation as a normal stock.
Any know how to add accounts for IBM SECU. I have had not had any luck so far.
Please add Hamilton Horizons Federal Credit Union located in Hamilton, NJ 08690. I don’t see a place for income data. Also where can the value of my residence be included?
Is there a way to add an auto loan that is through a local credit union that does not have web access?
HELP!! I really don’t see mint.com as being a replacement for a personal version of quicken… how can I add checks I just wrote so that I can know my true balance? I was used to reconciling… can’t with mint… do I even need to? Can anyone really help???
Please add sacu.com! I do not use your sight because I cannot access my account!
How can I enter accounts where I have no website, ie, no passwords or user names to enter.
Also, I know I am entering correct data for other sites but it continues to be rejected.
Please add.
Please add memorial hermann credit union (www.memorialcu.org) to your list.
Mint,
Please add common household expense accounts. I would love to be able to see my balances with Comcast Cable, ComEd, AT&T…etc. Also…could you add a place to see miles and points at common carriers such as marriott and united?
This would make the almost perfect website, perfect!
Thanks
how do I delete a single account that did not load properly with out deleting the whole family of accounts
Great App! I can’t wait until the next upgrade. I have used Money and Quicken only to be disappointed over and over again. Your team seems to understand what people want… the only question is can you develop this app where it needs to go on a service fee business model.
Some things that would be nice to see are: Ability to add manual transactions. Ability to check off transactions (i.e. check register). Ability to schedule (i.e. calendar or bill management). Not necessarily the ability to pay bills via mint, but it would be great to see or track bill due dates and check them off as they clear bank and credit acounts.
Nobody wants to use multiple systems to manage and track their fiances. Ideally, the best app, hopefully Mint, should get the majority of the market share and then it’s theirs to loose after that. Good Luck and keep up the great work!
Please add Weststar Credit Union to your list of institutions. My friend does all his budgeting with Mint.com and I can’t… I’m jealous!
…how about adding pension and social security incomes to the equation…!
Thanks,
Sam
Please let us change the “Price Paid” or costs of investment holdings (i.e. stocks, mutual funds) to their initial costs. Right now it shows the market value amounts.
Just started using this and I like what I see so far. Was going to switch from MS Money to Quicken this year. I will probably do that and use both Quicken and Mint. I had looked at YNAB but Mint is more like the way I think.
Oh, and I know it’s probably right in front of me, but I can’t see how to add income in the budget. Anyone?
Forgot another question I had…
I have a landscaper from April through November. Should I just budget for that over the 12 months or can I add that level of detail to the budget timing?
I would like to option to import Mint data into a program so I can print out my yearly income/expense catagories for my accountant. How can I export Mint data?
Does anyone know how to separate 1 expense for multiple purposes? For example cash from the ATM. If I pull out $100, $30 may go in my gas tank, 20 for fast food, 25 to my kids, etc.
still finding my through as I set up.
What is this “everything else” list I see in planning. Some of these things are assigned to categories visible on outside the “everything else”. not sure if they are duplicated, but I find this “everything else” section confusing. Why not just list every category w/ the colored bar? The list in the “everything else” section does not have the level tracker.
I would like to be able to print what I see. How long will we have to move the infor to an excel spreadsheet??
How do you get the running balance in the checking account?
hi, need western rockies federal credit union added please.
It appears that mint.com only pulls in 3-4 historical months of data from, for example a bank. Is there a way to pull in all 12 historical months of 2009 transactions so I can get a complete view of my 2009 transactions/spending/catagories? Same question for financial accounts such as stock and IRA accounts.
Are there any plans to allow uploading of old Quicken data into Mint?
Hi,
I am an independent contraction and I would like to categorize each transaction y the IRS code I use for my write off’s. Then I would like to print out each months’ transactions with a total for each category so that everything is ready to go come tax time. Is this possible in Mint? If so can someone please explain how to do it? Any help is appreciated-thanks.
I fear this is a dumb question, for this should be an obvious feature on an otherwise wonderful site: Is there a way to do a report at year’s end that includes my tax-deductible categories and totals? Many thanks.
I have a number of accounts that have the warning triangle that need to be updated and need special passwords etc but when I try to enter them the page refreshes every 10 seconds or so and wipes out whatever I have begun typing. Anybody else having this problem and what is the solution?
can’t add barclaycardus.com or chevrontexacocards.com. can these be added?
