I love what Mint has done. It is very easy to use and you are able to track lots of information from one location. I would like to see the ability however to set budgets up on a weekly basis and not just on a monthly basis. It would also be nice if the iPhone app allowed you to do split transactions.

What’s the deal? No CHECK REGISTER? How on earth are you to balance your life? This system only alerts you once it is to late. I’ll check back.

Mint.com works great with ProvidentCU.org, by the way. I’ve been using it for almost 2 years now. If it ever stops working, I’d probably leave Provident before Mint.

Mint is useless without being able to enter future transactions and see your “real balance” Quicken Online had this feature, but that’s gone. Mint is useless without this. Thousands of people have told Mint this feature is needed, but Mint keeps trying to shove the same system down our throats. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM, MINT?

I need a CHECK REGISTER for my accounts in order to use MINT with any consistency. I love the budgeting feature when compared to the one in Quickbooks Online (BORING!!) but without a register I can’t use Mint. Any suggestions?

I wish that Mint would allow users to create an account for managing cash. I just recently moved to Germany where credit cards and debit cards are not something that can be used everywhere and can actually cost extra to use. Additionally, German banks are not supported on the site.

Mint is a great tool and I wish that there was someway that I could continue to use it, but I won’t be able to unless the former issue is addressed.

It would be nice to have the ability to manually add transactions to an account, such as when I write a check. Other than that It is awesome product, especially give the price.

**OR BETTER YET** is is as simple as ’subtracting’ or ‘hiding’ the subcategories you don’t want the aggregate category:

example:
one category is (Groceries)
another is (Alcohol & Bars)
another is (Food & dinning) minus (Groceries) & (Alcohol & Bars)

I think the new site is spectacular!

Grouping subcategories together in the budget options would be perfect.
**OR BETTER YET** is is as simple as ’subtracting’ or ‘hiding’ the subcategories you don’t want the aggregate category:

example:
one category is (Groceries)
another is (Alcohol & Bars)
another is (Food & dinning) minus (Groceries) & (Alcohol & Bars)

also, I agree with the pro-forma cash flows and a date-line graph as a quick-glance dash board tool. (not asss important though)

I would like a check and balance for Mint.

Transactions + previous balance = current balance

If the above doesn’t equal out then there is something missing LIKE A WHOLE BUNCH TRANSACTIONS!
