Mint.com Free Online Personal Finance Web-App Now Live!

I’m pleased to announce Mint.com is officially launching today at TechCrunch 40 in San Francisco. Our free online personal finance web-app is now open to everyone!

For those of you who have enjoyed our private beta and financial content, now is the time to tell your friends, family, and anyone who could use:

  • A little financial organization.
  • Free personal finance software
  • Insight into where their money goes, across all accounts.
  • Email & SMS bill reminders and alerts.
  • Personalized savings suggestions averaging over $1,000 during our beta.

Since Mint is free, and only takes a few minutes to setup, why not pass along a good financial tip?

Private Beta Feedback:

We’ve received nearly 3,000 emails in the past few weeks with product suggestions, bug reports, and requests. We read every single one of them, and I just want to say: Thank you; you’re helping make Mint better in a very real way.

While it may take us some time to add all the banks and credit unions requested, we’re working on it. Here are some user suggested features we will be rolling out in the next few months:

  • Transaction-level drill-down from the spending pie graph
  • Rename / nick-name an account
  • Exclude accounts (e.g. don’t show my business account, just my checking)
  • Support for student loans, mortgages, and brokerages.

Keep the suggestions coming!

Bloggers & Journalists:

Thank you for respecting our press embargo. The rules of TechCrunch 40 forbade advanced coverage - any leaks would have meant being kicked out of the conference entirely! You are now free to write what you like about Mint, good and bad, screen shots and all. You can find a company background, logos, and screenshots on our PR & Blogger Resources page.

Again, I want to thank every Mint beta user for taking the time to provide such tremendous feedback. I hope Mint continues to be a product you use in your daily life. On our side, we’ll do our best to help you “do more with your money.”

Founder & CEO, Mint.com

William Tan Says:

Congratulations on launching the best financial management tool I’ve seen! I joined the private beta merely 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love it!

Keep up the good work.

Tom Says:

This sounds cool, but it seems you’re having major scalability issues… every single one of the accounts I tried to add (about 6) failed…

DLarsen Says:

So excited to finally sign up… BUT I’m not able to connect to any of my accounts. Hopefully they can fix this soon, so I can give them a positive recommendation to friends.

Andy Says:

New accounts time out every time. Are you guys getting swamped and the servers are failing or is it just me? I tried E*Trade, Chase and ING.

Atish Says:

I’ve been saved!

Dan Says:

Congratulations on the launch guys! The app is great so far. I love the automation of the spending habits etc. Keep up the good work!

TBA02 Says:

alas,
Mint is currently down for maintenance.

Eric Says:

A little bit of growing pains? Is this the techcrunch40 effect?

FIRE Finance Says:

According to us, Mint is a great tool for managing our personal finances. Now it depends on us, the user community to adopt it and help it move forward with our support and feedback. Thanks Mint!

Viet Says:

Hey guys, for those that are having trouble adding accounts, we apologize for the inconvenience. We had a few thousand people try to add many thousands of accounts today in a two hour period.. and we may have overwhelmed a few banks we linked to.

Thanks also for all the nice comments everyone, we sincerely appreciate them!

Aaron Says:

Today was great. I presented Mint to an audience of over 500 people in San Francisco. The presentation was basically setting Mint up, live, from scratch. In 6 minutes, I showed people where all of my money goes (I used my own accounts), got email and text message alerts (apparently I don’t have much credit remaining on one of my cards), and found about $2,000 in savings opportunities.

Israel Baumel Says:

Hi Aaron,

I like the idea, didn’t have a chance to see the implementation yet. I am really concerned about the safety of my information.

You say you don’t collect my information but this is immaterial. Your site will have ALL information necessary to leave me broke, which is why I need to be 100% sure you are safe. For as long as you don’t show me how safe you are and what backing you have to cover any losses incurred because of potential “burglaries” I’ll keep MINT as an interesting idea.

Maybe, if you would allow people to download the application, you can overcome some of these safety concerns. I know that changing your model is tough (I’m a Product Manager and technologist myself) but your potential revenue stream is not affected by such a change. You can still make suggestions (ads) etc etc.

Thanks,
Israel Baumel

Graeme Mac Says:

Is this primarily for the US or will Canadians be able to use the full feature set?

DebtKid Says:

I did a short review of the Mint.com beta. I was impressed. This is the first financial app I think I will actually use constantly. Great job Mint.com team!

Sincerely,

DebtKid

P.S. - I think I should submit one of my mistakes for the “train wreck Tuesdays” thing…but which mistake to choose!

AXT Magazine Says:

Congrats for the award on TC40

Search* Engines WEB Says:

Congratulations of winning the Techcrunch 40

what was everyone’s reaction the moment they heard their names

Aaron Says:

Yeah, we’ve been experiencing some growing pains. In the 3 hours after I got off stage (11am Pacific Time), we had over 9,000 signups. And it’s not letting up…we just won TechCrunch 40.

Engineering is pulling an all-nighter on this one…we’re about 3x capacity now, with more servers being provisioned as we speak.

Alasdair Allan Says:

So do you have any plans for non-US rollout? It looks interesting, but US-centric.

Samir Says:

Congratulation for winning the top award @ Techcrunch40. When do think your server will let me sign up? I have been trying unsuccessfully.

Robert Andews Says:

UK access, UK banks - when, when, WHEN?

Parm Says:

I too would like to know if there are any plans to bring the service to UK users?

Aaron Patzer Says:

Parm,

Yes, we plan to bring Mint to the UK, possible late 2008 early 2009.

Aaron Patzer
Founder & CEO, Mint.com

Hoodamanny Says:

Hi Aaron, please can you try to get here sooner than that-for some good reasons see below:

Pc pro ( the uk version of pcmag) recently had a huge response to an article they wrote and have setup a campaign to ask microsoft for an updated version of money.

Since support for money will run out in June for the existing money program there are lots of people simply begging for your service.

It also would be a great time to do some pr for your product.

We might even be able to help you guys get set up before then, ref contacting banks and helping you ref differences, am sure can probably find volunteers to do a lot of the basic stuf for free!
eg supplying lists ref categories and companies.

Here are the links to a recent webpost about the article and forum comments

Andy Says:

Again… If your after beta testers i’d love to assist.

Jimmy G Says:

As a few others have said - we would LOVE to see a UK version of Mint.com

I was literally signing up when I saw “ZIP Code” and let out a sigh.

I realise the Mint Credit Card could be a trademark issue over here so I totally understand the wait.

Obviously I’d also love to help beta test (not just to use the service) but to actually help you guys make Mint even better :D

Keep up the awesome work!

Chris P Says:

Yeah, I was in the process of signing up too when I saw zip code.

I use a product with my bank that takes a few accounts and logs in for you to give a balance and a net worth, but this sort of thing looks fantastic and I would love to help test.

sdm Says:

Sign me up for Mint UK beta testing =)

Ondrej Says:

The same from me. The sooner you make mint available for uk, the better.

Richard P Says:

I’d like to beta test in the UK too

I want to add my name to the UK beta testing list if there is such a thing! I’ve been waiting for mint.com to jump the pond for what feels like ages now! Can’t wait to use it.

Nick Says:

Yes, a UK beta would be great and much appreciated.

John Says:

Andy Says:

+1 For the UK BETA test please

Graeme Benstead Says:

Please add me to the UK Beta testers list

Cliff Zattoni Says:

I’d also like to take part in the UK Beta test please.

Chris B Says:

Even considered getting a US mailing address to sign up - then realised UK banks would not be covered. Come along chaps! Enthusiastic punters here in the UK. Sign us up for a beta.
Someone’s got to make a buck out of this crisis - it could be you.

Fontburn78 Says:

I’d love to beta test this. Anything to get a decent product to market quicker I’m all in favour of.

Richard Says:

I’m dying to use this and sort out my (financial) life! I’d love to be a UK beta tester.

the-uMe Says:

I would love to be a beta tester - please add me to the list.

Jo Frud Says:

When i saw Mint about 9 months ago i got really excited and like a lot of people here i got through sign up and saw zip code, let out a huff and made a mental note to check back late 2008, well i’m here now but no news if you do need a beta tester count me in too would be more than happy to help.

Grant Says:

If there is a BETA list, then i’d also love to be on it. Please bring to the UK.

Alex Says:

Another +1 for UK banks!

Tata
Euan

Caz Says:

PLEASE sign me up for the UK beta. Gutted to see ‘zip code’!

Elsa Says:

Any more news on the UK launch? There’s is certainly enough interest :)

Rich Says:

Another +1 please for a UK compatible version of Mint.

Ben Hymers Says:

Might as well mention that I’m very much hoping for UK support too. The more the merrier, right?

Nick Says:

yet one more willing UK beta tester!

Nawaz Sumar Says:

I would also like a UK Beta Invite, though readind the comments I dont think anyone from mint actually mentioned them.

I have been using Yodlee, which I believe is your actual middle man for making connections to banks? They seem to allow access to UK banks and even let a stand alone site called Kublax.com also have access. Kublax appears to be a bit more like alpha-ware to be honest though.

Ian Says:

The need for a decent product like this in the UK is staggering - if it performed as it looks like it could & was absolutely secure, I’d definitely consider paying a monthly fee for it.

“Yes please for the UK”

Jim Says:

Yet Another UK Beta tester offer - seriously. Financial tracking and automated digital integration/budgeting is sorely lacking over here.

Please please please bring it to the UK!

Jonathan Says:

Again, +1 for the brits!
and i agree, id even pay a monthly fee!

pretty pretty please?

Richard Innes Says:

Think this would be amazingly popular in the UK - and I’d be the first to get involved and use it. I think its a great idea.

Please put me down for the UK beta test, hugely interested!!

Channing Walton Says:

Hi,
I’ve commented before that this would be very very popular in the uk.

Any chance of a response from someone at Mint? It would be nice to know your thoughts.

Channing

Chris Says:

Sign me up for the UK beta too please!

Mark Says:

Another voice for Mint UK! Would like to beta test but more importantly, can we get an update on when a UK rollout is likely?

Sanjay Gupta Says:

Please count me in too for beta testing.

Andy Says:

this looks like a GREAT service/app. another UK beta tester available here!!

Tane Piper Says:

Another +1 for the UK here and up for beta testing

andy Says:

Late ‘08 is unlikely now, eh?

A UK offering would be fantastic. The ability to use it on the iPhone is a dealbreaker for me. Don’t make me move to the US just for your app :p

Jay Says:

An update on the rollout to the UK would be great. Please — stop my pain of having to manage UK and US accounts separately.

Joe Williams Says:

I would like to add my name for a UK beta tester.

Simon Says:

I am looking forward to the UK Version. I am up for beta testing also.

John Says:

I would like to UK beta test this please.

Stu Says:

+1 for UK Beta if it exists please!

toby griffiths Says:

Hi,

Could you please let me know (by email) once you are close to having this live in the UK. I would love to use this and a lack of viable alternatives make it a very attractive option.

I too would be happy to beta test if necessary.

Cheers.

chay Says:

I would love to sign up for Mint uk as soon as it appears.

Dominic Winsor Says:

This service looks fantastic - I’d love to see the UK version. Happy to beta test if required. :)

Geoff Hall Says:

“Yes, we plan to bring Mint to the UK, possible late 2008 early 2009. Aaron Patzer, Founder & CEO, Mint.com - Feb 18th 2008″

Any progress on Mint UK. Keen to run the Beta if available.

Mark Johnson Says:

Would love to beta test a Mint UK version if required :)

Aidan Says:

Shame the UK version isn’t out in time for peoples new years resolutions. Hopefully you can get us on soon.

Kate Says:

Would love to beta test a UK version too please :)

IL Says:

Any ETA someone from mint can give us for the UK version. Really looking forward to it!

Kim MO Says:

I am also eagerly awaiting the UK version. If you are indeed doing UK beta testing I would be very keen to help out. Many thanks.

James S Says:

When’s this UK launch date? Really interested to know…

Tammam Says:

+1 for UK support. Would love to beta test for UK.

Darrell Says:

Does anyone at mint actually read these comments. There has been a looong line of people here asking for info about a uk release and no-one has got back to us. PLEASE SAY SOMETHING!!!!

Kent Says:

It did say late 2008/early 2009 above, so I guess that is the most up to date info for now.

I guess it is up to Mint if and when they decide to release a UK version, and how well they keep us informed of their progress. There can be quite legitimate reasons for not keeping people as informed as they might like.

I too look forward to it a great deal and would happily beta test as well.

Mull Says:

Please release a UK version soon! Beta tester here if needed!

Phil Says:

Would be nice if it was possible to subscribe for an email for updates on the uk version so we don’t have to keep checking the website.

Does mint have an RSS with release info?

adam Says:

+1 if you beta test a UK version please

Tony Says:

Another hand up for the UK service and beta testing.

Ollie Says:

UK please :)

Liam Byrnes Says:

UK PLEASE!!

Omi Says:

UK version! I don’t need the bank sync either

Matt Says:

UK version please - nothing seems to compare over here.

gabe Says:

Please please please UK. And I’ll even jump on the beta testing bandwagon for you! Need to get rid of my current accounting system (back of cigarette packet) :p

Mark Says:

UK please - even if its just something I can import statement files into it would be great

James Says:

Hello, here’s another hand up for a UK version, especially with an iPhone app to go with it… please?

Andrew Says:

I’m up for a UK beta test as well. I just got a new job and I’d love to see the money pouring in on my iPhone.

Michael Says:

UK VERSION PLEASE !!!! :-)

Danny Says:

Come on guys! What about all of us in the UK?

Adam Says:

dum dum dum, another one joins the list…
Count me in for a beta test!

Paul Says:

Another 2 UK beta users here plz

Wasim Tahir Says:

Dear CEO of Mint,
As some one who is able to successfully use a computer and be able to navigate through various internet sites with ease, i would like to propose that I would make a fantastic BETA TESTER.

Infact, I would go as far as to say that I would make the best beta tester of all the alpha, beta, gamma etc. testers.

Therefore should the need for my services arise please do not hesitate to get in touch

Kind Regards

WaWa Says:

am up for the UK beta testing too. :)

George Cockerill Says:

Is this the back of the queue for the beta testing?

David Foster Says:

The word ‘UK’ appears on this page about a hundred times.

Mint, get back to us! We’re eagerly awaiting a UK version and I think it should be obvious by know how much demand there is for it.

Adam Hougham Says:

I’m really keen to see how mint.com would work in the UK. With two accounts in different bacnks using (or about to use) these little PinSentry doohickies though I’m not sure how the service will work. I’d be delighted to test it though!

Kieran Benton Says:

Add me to the UK beta as well please!

Thanks,
Kieran

Andrew Dixon Says:

Another person that would love a UK version and would be happy to beta test.

Thanks

Andrew.

Chris Says:

I to have arrived at this page desperately searching for a UK version of mint. Please bring soon !

Ben White Says:

If you’re interested in beta testing a UK version of mint.com why not try:

http://www.kublax.com

All the best
Ben

Keiron Waites Says:

Please make Mint work in the UK! We need it more than ever now!

Plus please add me as a beta tester :)

Click4Credit Says:

Fantastic software, clearly a huge demand for overseas version. I guess the UK would be obvious first choice for expansion. I’m here in Australia and would love to see a service like this. The banks offer the cabability for reports to stream in so it could be done.

Sealan Cronin Says:

I would LOVE to beta test the UK version. Add me please!

Cheers! <3

James C Says:

Yet another user keen to know when this will arrive in the UK

Bruno Says:

+1 for the UK beta!

Channing Walton Says:

Mint has been too slow for me and I’m trying out http://www.kublax.com which seems nice.

Bradclark Says:

We are DESSSSSPERATE for a service like this in the UK. Our banks are useless at providing modern and up to date methods for interactive banking. Its almost shameful. Being able to check my financial health from my iPhone would be amazing.

Another avenue that Mint.com could revolotuinse is the student loans system. Currently there are no tools for students to manage how much they owe, how much they are paying etc other than an annual statement….I have no idea how much money i have paid and how much i still owe. This would be amazing.

Please make all the effort you can to break the UK market. It would also be nice if you could acknowledge all of these lovely people commenting and provide an update now on then or even a blog section for non-us potential customers…..is it really that hard>?

Regards

Brad (in financial destitution and awaiting mint.co.uk!!!)

B.T.W Kublax is our nearest thing to mint.com but it doesnt even compare. buggy and UGLY!!

Ben Says:

Please Mint make a UK version, or just update is on the status. Please!!!! + 10000 for UK :D

Joff Williams Says:

I too am joining the back of the queue for Beta testing and hoping this service is launched in the UK. Quick before someone else sees this list of potential customers!

Tom Says:

I am interested in this service for the UK too. Will keep an eye open for updates!!!

Albon Says:

The UK is waiting …

Ryan Says:

Seriously - a UK version is needed NOW, sign me up for beta/alpha testing straight away!

Tim Says:

Another +1 for a UK service…

S Smith Says:

Please bring to the UK.

I am another vote. We need this.

James Says:

Might as well add to the list… UK please!!!

Matt Says:

another vote for the UK version Please!!

Adam Says:

…and another vote for the UK version.

C Richardson Says:

As with everyone else on here, I’d be happy to be a UK beta tester. I’ve been looking to move over to Linux for some years, but have not been able to find anything user friendly enough to replace Microsoft Money! Since Mint.com is web based, this looks likely to offer a great solution!

Looking forward to a release soon….

JQuarrie Says:

I have emailed Mint.com directly about providing us with more information about any upcoming releases for UK or progress :( sadly i got an automated response - - - - - but if there is a beta/alpha version …again…..please sign me up :D !!

J Harper Says:

another vote for the UK version

J Harper Says:

I just tried Kublax and it didn’t work for me. It couldn’t connect to my bank - after 10 tries I gave up. I imagine I’m not alone, so mint, if you are able to get here quickly I’m sure you’ll sweep away the competition.

jan. Says:

+1 for UK (beta testing if required)

Chris Legg Says:

Just registering more interest for a UK version!

Harry Says:

Just adding my vote to a UK version of Mint, and of course, offering myself up as a Beta Tester :)

Trevor Says:

+1 UK.

Cheers.

Dan Armstrong Says:

Not sure if it is worth adding another name to this petition for a UK localised version of the service. Even just confirmation that mint.com are still intending to do something in the UK would be something.

I thought it might be worth suggesting that if they were to launch something in the UK they should get in touch with http://www.moneysavingexpert.com. With over 3m people receiving their weekly email & nearly 7m visitors to the website a month that is a *lot* of potential publicity. This kind of product seems totally in-line with the ethos of Martin Lewis. Maybe they could teach him a thing or 2 about design too!

Alan Says:

I also would like to use your software but I am in the UK… So another vote from me ;)

Chris Bond Says:

Add me to the UK beta software, would love to be able to use mint.com to manage my accounts!

Andrew Moffett Says:

+1 UK
plus add me to beta if required

Andrew Says:

I’d like to be the 5,124th person on the UK beta testing list.

Leo Says:

Love the idea… but WE NEED IT IN THE UK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a huge market here with nobody offering what you do.

You can make a killing.

Ill be the 5,125th person for uk beta testing.

Rich Says:

The number of people requesting this is HUGE. +1 UK here too.

Whatever it takes to get this to the UK. We’re still in the dark ages when it comes to personal financial management.

Pretty please? I’ll buy you all a pint. Heck, I’ll buy you the pub.

Dan Says:

Considering the feedback asking about UK versions of this it would be nice if the Mint.com team could at least respond to this.

Nick Says:

Another +1 to a UK service, please :)

Michael Says:

Please include me on your UK version. Thanks!!

Andrew Says:

I’d love to be part of the UK beta test. When is this starting?

yez Says:

REALLY interested in the UK version! Sounds brilliant.

Cameron Kennedy Says:

Love to be part of the UK beta, please…

James Franklin Says:

Can’t wait for the UK version! Does anyone actually work at mint, or are they just ignoring us?

Alex Says:

@James Franklin - I think they are ignorning us! This post announces Mint launching in September 2007. I commented above in September 2008 and have been watching us Brits saying “+1 for UK beta” ever since then!

I hope that they are working on bringing it to the UK. It makes total sense but they have been SO silent about it I really wonder…

Liam Says:

A UK version would be fantastic, they said late 2008/early 2009 and now its spring. Any more info?

yez Says:

I’d pay a monthly / annual fee for something like this (probably around the amount I pay for flickr) IF IT WAS OUT IN THE UK!!

Please, an update, someone? :)

Tobias Says:

Hi guys, I’d also love a UK version. My finances are out of control and it looks like Mint.com could really help! Any news on a UK release?

Euan Says:

Had a response from Mint about non-US availability. No new news though…

bq[fr]. Thank you for contacting Mint.com.
Note: I am sending this to inform that almost all US accounts can be added. However, factors that come into play with our providers and adding banks (Size of Bank, Assets held by Bank and Login security requirements). Non US-based account can’t be added due to currency conversion.
Currently Mint only supports US based financial institutions. We do plan to support financial institutions based outside of the US and we will attempt to notify you via email when we do. We would also recommend keeping an eye on our forums at http://forums.mint.com/ for regular product updates and announcements.

Brad Clark Says:

I got this reply from mint today.

Not sure if its automated or not. It seems it.

“Thank you for contacting Mint.com.

Our apologies for your inconvenience. Please keep an eye on our forums at http://forums.mint.com for any updates.

Note: I am sending this to inform that almost all US accounts can be added. However, factors that come into play with our providers and adding banks (Size of Bank, Assets held by Bank and Login security requirements). Non US-based account can’t be added due to currency conversion.

Looks like they are working on it, not too much longer I hope.

Bryan Says:

Kublax does not work, it is in Beta- any ideas as to when it will work?

Bryan Says:

And will it work in the US? Are there any potentially Global solutions?

Nigel Says:

Moving the MINT service to the UK would require convincing UK banks to co-operate. However if this was acheived such a service would have a massive appeal, since (1) in the UK budgeting programs are very thin on the ground, and (2) we are in the middle of a recession. On the other hand convincing UK banks is easier when you are already a big player. To do this - launch an intermediate UK product, just like the US product but allowing compatibility with CSV & QIF files. Most UK banks already allow these file types to be downloaded online.

Alex Says:

@Nigel - Good idea! Mint should just launch with a manual download service. I do this via Wesabe already but Mint seems better so I wouldn’t mind.

Ali Nicoll Says:

Another UK vote

Played around with Kublax, disappointing.

Sripada Says:

You can use yodlee money center. It supports most of the UK banks and Mint.com uses yodlee services behind the scenes anyway.

Alex Says:

@Sripada: I just tried signing up to Yodlee.com but despite selecting UK as my country it still requires an American state and only numbers in the “zip code” which means I can’t use my UK address. Are you sure UK people can sign up? What am I missing?

Euan Says:

@Alex
I signed up for Yodlee’s MoneyCentre and just used a random state and zipcode. I was able to add my UK bank accounts without a problem. Interface is a little bit full on and not straight forward to navigate, I’m guessing Mint would be much more intuitive, but for now until Mint are an option I’m going to see how MoneyCentre fares.

I tried Kublax but not impressed. Seems to lack design consideration and comes across as rushed/amateur.

James Scott Says:

Jordan Greenaway Says:

Ditto the Uk stuff.

Tom Davenport Says:

Pleeeease bring this to the UK!

Jon Knight Says:

Please…. UK Support!!!!!!! ASAP!!!!!

Iestyn Lloyd Says:

Put me down for UK support. Please let us al know when you plan on making this happen. Thanks.

Jon Says:

Please email me when your support GBP and UK banks. Thanks

Jags Singh Says:

Love to see a UK version too. Happy to sign up as BETA user.

Please post an update on this blog about the progress for UK version, pleeeeaaaaassssseeeee.

Dave Says:

I keep checking every couple of months, any idea of when you will have a UK version available?

Kay Says:

Tried Kublax, works pretty well for me everytime.

Baronne Says:

Mint UK -one vote!

BC Says:

Its almost May 2009 and not a peep from Mint in the UK!

When, when, when, when??

Jeremy McMinn Says:

Seriously, when is the UK version coming out. I’d even pay for it.

Marie Says:

Another vote for the UK - please! :) x

Lewys Says:

Any news on Mint in the UK yet? People are screaming out for this.

Claudi Says:

I can’t wait for mint UK either!! :)

Kate Platonova Says:

Here is yet another volunteer for a UK BETA!

Danny Says:

Seems pretty poor that there has been no official response on this. I’d love this service in the UK too and lack of news when demand seems so high is not great PR.

Wendy Says:

Hi - I am a very pleased (relatively new) user of Mint.com who lives in the UK, but has a number of US accounts. I’d love to beta test a UK version, but mostly I’d love to be able to see all my UK and US info aggregated together in one overview page. PLEASE tell me I’ll be able to do that once you launch your UK site!

Gavin and Spacey Says:

Come on guys, where’s the news? No announcement of beta test or even a response to the huge amount of people here, who are looking to help you.

I can feel peoples enthusiasm eeping away for your company.

Give us something!

Mark Sem Says:

This is just what I am looking for. Add me to the list of UK users.

It looks as if MINT would be very popular!

Nick Says:

sign me up for the UK beta test!

Andy Says:

+1 for UK…

matt9b Says:

UK please come on! What is taking so long? They said late 2008 early 2009, so where is it already? I’ve been waiting since way back in 2007. Man it sucks when you’re reliant on only one company for a unique service that exists no where else. Tried wesabe, and all the alternatives.. they all suck. Come on Mint, please come to the UK already. We will even pay for it here, I am on my knees begging.

If you don’t then maybe I’ll set up a UK company and take all these customers.

Daniel Says:

Another for the UK here. But why no response from Mint?

Andy Mortimer Says:

If and when you starting testing this in the UK please sign me up to be a beta tester, would love to be able to use this

Matt Quinn Says:

Looking to utilise this service in the UK - happy to support beta testing with institutions including Natwest, Amex, Fidelity, Egg & Abbey account imports.

Ashley Allen Says:

Ok, there’s obviously plenty of interest from the UK and I’d like to add my voice to that. But 20 months without any word from mint?

Come on how hard can it be to put out a press release to keep our hopes alive?

Ray Bridgewater Says:

Mint.com: the reviews are extremely positive, and I was keen to sign up when you first launched - but I live in the UK! Right now couldn’t be a better time to launch a UK-biased branch that I’m pretty sure would be very welcome in this time of forced prudence. Bring it on!

Matt Hardwick Says:

Please anyone any idea on the UK version? :(

Col Says:

MINT UK MINT UK!!!

Trevor May Says:

Add me to the list of people interested in a UK version. I’d use it even without bank integration.

Dave Searle Says:

Please add me to the UK beta testers list too!!!!!!

Daniel Watts Says:

Another UK resident desperate to get his hands on a Mint account!

I first came here on launch and tried to sign-up but was halted by the Zip Code entry! I just can’t believe it’s still the same situation and no word from Mint when the UK will be here!

Tell us? Tell us now, my finances need the help! Please?

Paul Says:

UK!!!

yez Says:

Since Mint have yet to reply - and it has been since September 18th, 2007 - that’s *2007*, if anyone wants to try and get a reply from them, how about joining me in asking them on twitter?

Michael Rose Says:

I used Mint, in the UK, from the start. All I get is a monthly email telling me my PayPal balance. Most dissapointing.

Now I’ve gone freelance I’m using http://www.crunch.co.uk. The features are building all the time and the project is in motion with the first banking integration coming online in July.

If you’ve got a business, and a Lloyds account, it could be ideal for you. I’m bored of waiting to see what Mint might do.

Steve Peterson Says:

Count me in as a UK user of Mint

Nick Says:

Sod this, I’m sick of coming back here every month just to hear they’re not doing anything. I’m opening a Wesabe account instead.

Money Stand Says:

I’ve been using kublax, I like it.. makes budgeting pretty easy and i like the function where you get to see the average that other users spend on the same expenses.

James Says:

+2 for UK, me and my Fiancee found out that Microsoft Money is binned permanently, so theres no chance at all for a new version.

From the amount of comments above, it seems the UK is literally gasping for some decent accounting tools…

Kent Says:

Yeah… I’ve started using moneycenter.yodlee.com and it works well for UK stuff.

Mint seem to not even care enough to post a comment to Non-US users to say ‘it isn’t coming’ which is pretty appalling PR.

John Says:

+! for UK Beta Testing

I STILL use MS Money 98 on my old PC because there is nothing decent for my Mac which I can happily transfer my files across to. *sigh*

Todd Says:

Add me as a beta tester as well.

Darrell Says:

As an American living in the UK, I’d really love support for banks from both the US and UK. Love Mint for my US accounts, but the UK accounts are primary.

JimmyC Says:

Another voice for a UK version of MINT.

I think people would appreciate SOME KIND of response - even if it’s to say that this is an impossibility. Come on guys, where’s your self respect?

Tom Weaver Says:

Been waiting for this for nearly a couple of years now.

Tried yodlee, the underlying tech - rubbish UI. Tried Kublax but it doesn’t auto update and its categorisation is rubbish.

Would v much like a UK version!

Chris Smith Says:

Just found the mint.com iPhone app in a UK apple store and thought it looks awesome. Just goes to show the word is spreading about mint.com over in the UK too.

Very disappointed that it’s US only at the moment.

Please can someone from mint let us know either way if it’s going to happen and what sort of timescale we’re looking at?
