Offers Management Analyst (Internship)
As a Offers Management Analyst at Mint.com you will be responsible for the quality and management of a wide range of consumer financial products and home services offers that Mint presents to its users. Mint offers are a revolutionary new form of Web advertising. Offers are only presented to users when there is a real savings opportunity which is contextually determined based on a user’s actual spending stream, and the savings are quantified in actual $ terms. Offers are prospected, evaluated and incorporated into the Mint.com backend through a broad range of sources and partnerships
Responsibilities
- Ensure that Mint has the most accurate, consistent, high quality and comprehensive collection of comparative financial offers on the Web.
- Work with existing sources of offers and rate information in entering, updating and maintaining Mint offers (rates, descriptions, terms & conditions, fees etc.) adding new offers and removing obsolete offers.
- Respond to compliance requests from partners.
- Actively gather quantitative metrics on offer conversion rates.
Requirements
- Strong interest in web-based affiliate marketing, lead generation, and e-commerce.
- Strong interest in personal finance, and ways for consumers to build savings.

User Experience & Design Guru
Our product is paramount at Mint.com and as a company we are maniacally focused on delivering a jaw dropping experience with undeniable value for our users. Mint is looking for the rare and wonderful talent that can marry a background in interaction design and web development with a passion for making personal financial management engaging and entertaining. As a member of the Product team at Mint.com, you will be involved in all aspects of the product lifecycle, from ideation to implementation. Specifically you will be responsible for the visual design and interaction design of our product. This position requires heavy interaction with Product Managers, Marketing and our very talented front–end engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Know Mint users (be the ball) – Organize and manage usability sessions, develop mental models and task analysis, apply qualitative and quantitative methods for achieving clarity into the pleasure and pain derived from the Mint experience.
- Think creatively – Design the best product on the web. Focus on simple and clean experiences. Don't be afraid to explore non-conventional approaches to address conventional problems.
- Apply your skills/use your tools – Engage in concept visualizations, wire framing, prototyping and, generally, articulate the user interface designs that will make Mint.com intuitive, informative and a pleasure to use. Author designs documents and author visual specs. Deliver creative assets and html to engineering.
Requirements

Web Developer – Contract Position

Senior Product Manager
Mint is looking for an intelligent, experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building the best personal financial management tool on the Web. As a Product Manager on the Mint team, you will be responsible for developing product strategy, conceiving of features, defining product requirements, working with a cross functional team through implementation, and performing detailed analysis on features.
Ultimately, Product Management at Mint is responsible for building an engaged user based that positions the company to achieve is overall business objectives. The position requires heavy interaction with Marketing, Business Development and Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams.
Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Contribute to the Roadmap - Develop product strategy that is founded in the needs of Mint users, in line with Mint’s objective to help individuals save money and achieves Mint’s business objectives.
- Know the customer - Partner with Marketing to design & execute qualitative consumer research. This will include fielding surveys, participating in forums, organizing usability sessions. Understanding the needs of Mint users is central to your responsibility as a Product Manager.
- Know the business – work closely with Business Development to cultivate relationships with advertisers and partners.
- Define the experience - Author product requirements documents (PRD) for a rapidly evolving set of product features. Product requirements will be rooted in detailed use cases as well as quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Own the product - Partner with engineering and quality assurance through the review of PRD’s and the implementation of each release to ensure the best user experience possible.
- Know your numbers - For appropriate initiatives, you will define, maintain and report on a set of metrics that describe adoption, usage and monetization of the feature.

Front-End AJAX / Javascript Engineer

Mint.com Blog Manager
Mint is looking for a personal finance guru with a passion for educating others about their money management and their investments... so they can focus on living instead of worrying about accounting.
As the Mint.com BlogMaster (BlogMistress?), you will be responsible for implementing of a blog design and content strategy which delivers valuable information to our 4,000+ readers, positive product and brand awareness/image and customer acquisition among 20-40 year old, tech-savvy (but not yet finance–savvy) professionals. Responsibilities and success metrics are:
Responsibilities
- Blog Editor: Create and manage an editorial calendar and the blogs site design to deliver on blog channel objectives for brand building, delivering user value and generating traffic/revenue to mint.com service.
- Writing/Writer management: Personally write for the blog, and identify, brief and manage high–caliber bloggers contributing relevant and compelling content across multiple targeted segments.
