Still lagging: women’s earnings in America

It’s no secret that there’s still a wage gap between men and women, but what is surprising is that the inequality persists even among college-educated women and union-affiliated women. Likewise, when comparing workers of the same race, age and marital status, the women still earn less than their male counterparts.
